Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I made my own darkroom and have developed 2 rolls of negatives. The first one was developed using Dektol, which brightens prints but darkens negative. They were too dark to get a whole lot off of them. I had to expose it for over a minute to get anywhere close to a good shade. I was restricted to 4 by 5's, I couldn't get anything to appear on an 8 by 10. Since light is reduced by the square of the distance from the lens of the enlarger to the paper, it was too dark. I cooked an 8 by 10 for 5 minutes and only got a faint outline of the picture. As for the other roll of film, I took to my artistic side and took pictures that I wanted to take. I originally wanted to have these developed professinally, however Walgreens only develops color film. So I developed them myself, this time with HC110, they came out a lighter shade. I was then able to make prints of 3 of them. I then scanned them into my computer and put them onto my powerpoint. That brings us to now, tomorrow is the presentation and I am psyched.
This is me signing off for the last time.
